# MemroOS V2 — release preview

Memory that learns. Knowledge you own.

MemroOS V2 is a major upgrade direction with three distinct parts:

- **Public edition:** a shared-memory core designed for standard models and supported agents. The V2 public release is being prepared.
- **Advanced memory models:** proprietary models in development, informed by approved learning from our own data. Proprietary training assets, model weights, and private histories remain private.
- **MemroOS as a service:** a planned managed-service pilot. Availability, onboarding, pricing, support, and customer data-use terms will be confirmed before invitations.

The final public release will include its exact source, license terms, supported clients, release notes, and tested setup and upgrade instructions.

This brief describes the direction and current status. It does not announce released model weights, benchmark gains, or an available hosted service.
